The book is finished!

It's done! The guys at Rational Press informed us today that The Rational Guide to Microsoft Office Business Scorecard Manager 2005 is now complete having just come back from the printers. A great relief and a huge sense of satisfaction for both Adrian and I.

The Rational Guide formula dictates that the books will be precisely 224 pages in length, and this one is no exception. Because we couldn't restrict ourselves to that many pages we have several .PDF bonus chapters that will also be available for download upon registering the book.

  • Enhancing Dashboard Interaction in SSRS Report Views
  • Scoring
  • Introducing PerformancePoint Server 2007
  • Advanced Tools and Utilities
  • Guide to Further Resources

Hi Nick,

I've now managed to get a copy of the book and it's already proving useful. One thing I've noticed is that there are various references to sample files in the book which don't seem to be in the registered downloads. For example, in chapter 4 there are references to indicators located in Rational BSM\Chapter 4\Indicators, but I can't find these in the samples_code download. Is there another file somewhere?

Sincere apologies, Derek. I have contacted the guys at Rational and they have made the appropriate corrections to the downloadable files.

If you have any further problems please let me know, either via comments here or direct email.

Cheers,
Nick

Microsoft Office Scorecards are a great concept developed badly. Absolute rubbish to use.
