SSRS - Document Outline pane

Another welcome edition to the SSRS designer is the Document Outline pane. A simple and handy way of viewing, accessing & editing elements in the hierarchical structure of the current report. The screenshot below shows where it can be found.












Any item selected in the tree is auto-selected in the report itself so you know exactly where you are. Properties, expressions etc. for each object are, of course, available through a right-click. The ability to simply rename any object from within the pane makes writing complex reports easier.
